BRITAIN’S INDUSTRIES
(British Official Wireless). RUGBY, January 13. That the adaptability of British industries in the face of changing circumstances has been largely responsible for the fact that during the difficult conditions of the past year Britain has maintained her trade position in several directions in which relatively new industries have been developed, is revealed in the exhibits of 2500 iepresentative manufacturers whose products will be displayed at next month’s British Industries Fair in London and Birmingham. Notable examples of rapid expatsion which the Fair will demonstrate are in connection with fruit and vegetable canning, can-making and in hand leather goods.
