THEFT OF BEER.

Two Men Committed for Sentence. (Special to the “ Star/*) GREYMOUTH, January 16. William Gourlav Ricalton and William Sylvester Roberts pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to charges of theft of beer from the Westland Brewery and of breaking and entering the railway goods-shed, and were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was allowed each accused in his own recognisance of £25, and one surety of £25.
