The plight of about twenty women immigrants who are stated to have come to New Zealand only to find that there was no domestic work available lor them has been brought to the notice of the Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.) by the secretary of the women's branch of the Unemployed Workers’ Movement (Mrs F. H. Grant). It is the intention of the Movement to bring the matter before the notice of the Prime Minister' (the Rt lion G. W. Forbes).
