LODGE MEETINGS
The Perseverance Lodge, U.A.0.D., met on Monday, J.P.A. Brother W. Stephens acting A.D. The D.P., Brother J. Pollard, was in attendance. An invitation was received from the Star of Ashburton Lodge to attend its jubilee. Brothers J. W. Pollard and P. W. Stephens were appointed to represent the lodge. The R.A.C. wrote stating that the A.D. charge ritual competition would be held in the lodge room on May 15. A welcome was extended to P.G.P. Brother F. George and P.G.P. Brother .T. Fisher, of the Oak of Sydenham Lodge. Brother W. Stephens was thanked for his services as A.D., and it was decided to present him with his diploma next lodge night. Ark of Refuge, Z.O.R. The regular meeting of the Ark of Refuge Tent, 1.0. R., held on Wednesday evening was presided over by Bro A. P. Pope. One candidate was proposed for membership. It was reported that a Rechabite Church parade would be held at the Clarence Road Methodist Church on Sunday evening, January 22.
