F. L. WOOLES. Government Forecast. General • Inference.—The tropical cyclone has not moved so far south as anticipated yesterday, and its influence is unlikely to extend beyond the Auckland Province. Its centre this morning was approximately 300 miles north of East Cape. The weather over most of the Dominion is controlled by a westerly depression located over the Tasman Sea, which has so far produced little rain. Forecast—Light to fresh north to north-west winds.
