EARTHQUAKES IN SYDNEY

SYDNEY, January 12. A number of slight earth tremors were recorded at Riyerview Observatory at six o’clock this morning. Residents of Coogee and Bellview report that the houses were noticeably shaken. Goulburn and other inland centres report alarming vibrations, furniture and crockery being rattled but no damage being done.
