NOT FOR CHRISTCHURCH.

U.S.A. Tennis Players Will Make Flying Tour.

The American lawn tennis team, now in Australia, will not visit Christchurch, according to a cablegram received by Mr R. Browning to-day from Mr H. M. Gore, the Canterbury representative on the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, who is now in Sydney. The Americans will only be eight days in New Zealand and have agreed to play on two afternoons. These matches will probably be held in Auckland and Wellington.
