Mr J. R. Cuningham Elected to Directorate. To fill the vacancy on the Board of Directors of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Limited, caused by the resignation of Mr B. E. H. Tripp, Mr J. R. Cuningham has been elected under article 91 of the company’s regulations. The directorate now consists of Mr H. A. Knight (chairman), Sir Francis Boys and Messrs G. E. Mannering, W. H. E. Flint, C. P. Agar and J. R Cuningham. On December 20 Mr J. Montgomery resigned from the board, and this vacancy has not been filled. The size of the directorate was increased from five to seven at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on November 30. At a further meeting of shareholders held on December 15, Messrs Flint and Cuningham were declared elected, but a week later it was found upon, a recount of the votes that the successful candidates were Messrs Flint and Agar. The resignation from the board of Mr Tripp was announced at the meeting on December 15.
