Sydney Man Buys Original Turners. United Press Assn;—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, January 11. When a Sydney man recently made a successful bid of £3O for four small paintings in tarnished frames at a city auction sale, seasoned bargain hunters laughed. It is now learned that the pictures are originals by the English artist Turner. The group is valued at not less than £SOOO.
