PRIZE-GIVING.
Successes at Prebbleton School. The annual breaking-up celebrations and prize giving of the Prebbleton School tobk place in the Public Hall, when a large number of parents and friends were present. Vocal items were given by Mrs W. O. Downey and Miss Vera White and a pianoforte solo by Miss Yvonne Smith. The children afterwards took part in a Christmas scene and singing several carols. Mr H. S. S. Ky-le, M.P., presented the prizes, and congratulated all connected with the school on the excellent results of the year's work. He specially mentioned the achievement of Nora White, who has qualified for the position of dux of the school at the early age of eleven years.
