Mrs Hubbard, of Witham. Essex, who | was seventy-four, collapsed and died while giving an address on “ Joy ” at a Witham meeting. A gift of £SO towards the cost of providing cases for the collection of china given to the Canterbury Museum by Mr J. H. Seager. has been made by Mr Seager. “This is another example of Mr Seager’s generosity,” stated the chairman of the Canterbury College Board of Governors (Mr C. T. Aschman), when the gift was reported to the meeting of the board yesterday afternoon. On the motion of the chairman the board decided to send to Mr Seager a letter of thanks and appreciation of his handsome gift.
