Featuring William Boyd, “ His First Command.” at the Grand Theatre, Is a picture combining thrills, drama and comedy. Against a colourful background of a United States cavalry post, Boyd is at his best, and during the many exciting scenes, he gives a fine display of horsemanship. As a cavalryman, he has the finest opportunity of his life for comedy, and he has taken full advantage of it. Dorothy Sebastian fills the main feminine role in her usual competent manner. The stars are given able support by Gavin Gordon, Helen Parrish and Alphonz Ethier. Many of the scenes in this film are in colour. The seventh chapter of the British serial, ” Detective Lloyd,” is included in a number of supporting features.
