SPINNING TO A FINISH.

AKRON (U.S.), December 11. Imprisoned for twenty days in the face of an alarm clock, a spider has continued the futile spinning of a web on the hands. It spins over and over again as the moving hands Ureak the web. Scientists from several universities who are watching the spider say that it is living by breaking down and absorbing its body tissues, but it cannot last much longer.
