SOCIETY OF ACCOUNTANTS.

A meeting of the New Zealand Society of Accountants’ Executive, Investigation and Finance Committee was held in Wellington recently, the following being present—Messrs W. A. Smith (president), S. E. Lambert, H. Valentine and J. L. Griffin. By virtue of having passed the necessary examinations the following were admitted to membership of the society: Messrs A. K. Brown, D. A. M’Nicoll (Auc.kland), I. M. Lilly (Te Awamutu), N. J. Glover, T. K. Henderson, R. A. C. Hollis, RTL. A. Turner, J. J. Warring (Wellington), W. S. M’Clymont (Blenheim), W. B. Thomas (Tinwald), C. P. Goldstone (Christchurch). Arrangements have been made for the society to be represented at the International Congress on Accounting, which will be held in London in July, 1933. The previous International Congress was held in New York about four years ago.
