Maintenance of Riccarton Avenue. (Special to the "Star.”) WELLINGTON. December 15. Mr Kyle, member for Riccarton, is visiting Wellington with the object of facilitating the proposed transfer of the Halswell electric supply area from Springs-Ellesmere to the city. He has also inquired into the progress of the report bv Mr Mosley, S.M., who v*as appointed a Commissioner to decide the dispute between Riccarton Borough and the City Council over the maintenance of Riccarton Avenue, the borough objecting to being made liable for 35 per cent of the expenditure. It is understood that the Commissioner has completed his report, which will shortly be in the hands of the Minister of Public Works.
