Nomination of Director of Association. Af a special meeting of the Canterbury Automobile Association on Saturday, it was decided, on the motion of the patron, Sir Arthur Dudley Dobson, in view of th i election being a contested one. to make a further nomination of Mr C. O. Curtis, manager of the Westport Coal Company, Christchurch, for the hoard of directors of the South Island Motor Union Mutual Insurance Association, and to ask policy-holders who are members of the Canterbury Automobile Association to support the nomination of their president (Mi- W. U. Carey) and Mr C. G. Curtis, either by personal vote or by proxy.
