CHEAPER STOUT.
DIRECT FROM BREWERY. SPECIAL BREW FOR INVALIDS. A very special brew of Invalid Stout is now being supplied by the Southern Cross Brewery. This Stout is of exceptionally fine flavour, slightly higher alcoholic content than usual and is not too "gassy.” By selling for cash direct to the consumer, the Southern Cross Brewery supply this high grade Stout at economy prices:—large bottles 10s 6d a doz, plus Is 6d deposit on the bottles; small, 2 doz. for 13s, 2s deposit on the bottles—empty bottles are called for by the Brewery and the deposit refunded. Country orders must be accompanied by cash plus Is a doz extra for packing and freight. The Southern Cross Brewery is now completely reorganised and brought up to date in every detail to be a model brewery. Experts and Doctors qualified to judge, freely state that Southern Cross full bodied Oatmeal Stout and the Southern Cross special “bittersweet” are two stouts of the highest grade that compare with the best imported.
