SUMNER FORENSIC CLUB.

To mark the final evening of the session, “ Ladies’ Night ” was held by the Sumner Forensic Club in Haase Tea Rooms. Mr Hervey Hamilton presided over a large attendance. The members thoroughly entered Into the spirit of the “ newspaper evening,” and spoke on topics chosen from the newspapers. Many of the speeches were in humorous vein and altogether the evening was a fitting conclusion to the season.
