A Typical Case.

To the Editor. Dear Sir, —Is anything being done to help the young men under twenty years of age? Why cannot we get work? My father is on relief work, has a large family to support, yet I have to depend on him to live. I have walked to the West Coast looking for work. After working there on a farm for four months at five shillings per week, I returned to Christchurch with the noble sum of 10s 9d. Socks, shirts and other clothing accounted for the rest. You are at liberty to give anyone my address if they want to employ me.—l am, etc., NINETEEN YEARS OF AGE.
