DELIGHTFUL FILM.

“ Lovers Courageous ” Stars Robert Montgomery. Should a girl obey the dictates of her heart in her choice of a husband, or should she follow the advice of her parents and friends who desire that she should be married to a man of wealth and position? That is the problem dealt with in " Lovers Courageous ”, Frederick Lonsdale’s charming romance which commenced a return season at Everybody's Theatre to-day. “ Lovers Courageous ” is a delightful story in which two popular screen stars, Robert Montgomery and Madge Ewans, have the principal roles, with such well known players as Roland Young. Frederick Kerr, Beryl Mercer and Reginald Owen in the supporting cast. Robert Montgomery takes the role of a young man who bears the unromantic name of Willie Smith, but whose heart is yearning for romance. He drifts from place to place, and has a position in South Africa as a : obacconist’s assistant at £2 a week, when Mary (Madge Evans), the spoiled daughter of an admiral, crosses his path. The girl is engaged to a member of the English nobility, but a warm friendship develops between herself and the tobacconist’s assistant. For the first time in their lives the youngsters experience the thrills and pleasure of real romance, but their association is cut short when Mary is sent to England by her parents.
