KING BENEFIT CONCERT.

The New Brighton Municipal Dana , and the Christchurch branch of ihe Unemployed Workers Movement have arranged to stage a benefit concert in i aid of the King family, of Harewood, in the Civic Theatre on July 12. Canterbury’s most popular artists will contribute items. A generous donation to the committee has been the printing gratis of 2000 tickets by Weeks, I td. The City Council authorities have granted the use oC the Civic Theatre at a low rental. When the result of the 1 concert is known a statement of receipts and *expenditure will be placed before the public.
