BOXING TOURNEY.
Team Selected to Represent Canterbury. At a meeting of the Match Committee of the Christchurch Sports Club last evening the following team was provisionally selected to represent Canterbury at the interprovincial tournament with South Canterbury, to be held at Christchurch next Tuesday evening:— N. Fisher, J. Nelligan, J. N. Moulin, R. Lester, R. Scott, R. G. Forward, B. Fail, J. Hobson, S. M’Kane, R. Gaudin, W. Sparks, A. J. Bourne and P. O’Sullivan, with the following for supplementary bouts: F. O’Connor, W. Bethell, W. Blunden and R. Overend. The final selection will be made to-morrow after the personnel of the team to represent South Canterbury has been notified.
