OBITUARY.

Death of Prominent Lodge Member. News of the death of Mr R. J. Hitchings, 72, Harper Street, Sydenham, will be received with deep regret in lodge circles, where he was very well-known and respected. Mr Hitchings has been a prominent member of the order of the Sons of Temperance for many years, and for the past three or four years had been a member of the executive. He had recently retired from the highest office in the order.
