The salvage ship Artiglio, carrying about £IBO,OOO worth of gold bullion rescued from the sunken Egypt, was arrestetd on its arrival at Plymouth, under instructions from Captain Garli, Admiralty Marshal, as a result of a claim. A warrant was nailed to the mast and the holds were sealed.. A special train is in readiness to convey the bullion to London. Lloyds are negotiating with the Admiralty Marshal, hoping that their bond will be accepted, enabling the removal of the gold to London to-morrow, where it will be formally guarded until released. The captain o». the ship says that nearly £1,000,000 worth of bullion is still in the Egypt.
