A Parliamentary practical joke was told by Mr H. S. S. Kyle, M.P., at the official opening of the poultry show in King Edward Barracks last night. He said that a certain Labour member insisted on having brown eggs served to him at Bellamy’s. If none were in stock, a common practice was secretly to dip the white eggs in coffee, and then serve them to the unsuspecting member.
