MURDER CHARGE.

Evidence to be Heard Next Week. CASE AT TIMARU. (Special to the " Star.”) TIMARU, June 3. Arrangements have been made by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., of Christchurch, to hear the charge of murder against William John Thomas Whalley, next week. William Edward Wogan, barmanporter at the Hermitage, was found dead in his bedroom on the evening of November 5 last, with a gunshot wound in the head. William John Whalley, chef at the Hermitage, was one of the witnesses who gave evidence at the inquest. Fie was arrested in April last, and has been remanded several- times.
