WEDDING.

Boddy—Morgan. “ The wedding was celebrated at St Patrick’s Church, Greymouth, yesterday afternoon of Mary Evelyn, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs E. Boddy (Moana) to Hugh Campbell, only son of Mr and Mrs L. Morgan, Greymouth. Rev Father Holohan officiated. The bride wore a charming frock of ivory ring velvet with a pretty flared skirt and a long tight-fitting bodice relieved at the waist with a girdle of pearls. Her veil of hand-embroidered tulle was worn well oft the face and was held in place with a coronet of pearls. She carried a sheath of white roses, Japanese chrysanthemums and maiden hair fern. The bride was attended by Misses Maud O’Brien and Edna Boddy, who wore ankle length frocks of ivory satin made on similar lines to the bride’s frock. They carried bouquets of pink chrysanthemums and maiden hair fern. The twin brothers of the bride, dressed in early Victorian suits of ivory satin, were page boys. Mr J. Auton, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man and Mr R. Boddy, groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at Harker’s and Mr and Mrs Morgan left later for Christchurch and Timaru, the bride travelling in an ensemble suit of nigger brown relieved with fawn and a smart hat to tone.
