PARISH FAIR OPENED.

An Easter fair m aid of the Phillipstown parish funds was opened this afternoon in the Jellicoe Hall, Gloucester Street, and will continue this evening and to-morrow afternoon and evening. There were many attractions, including a musical programme by Madame Ottlee’s pupils, which will be repeated to-morrow afternoon, and numerous sideshows and displays. A Punch and Judy show will be held to-night and a baby show r to-morrow night. A concert programme will be given by the Tuahiwi Maoris to-morrow night. ,
