ALL NATIONS FAIR.
A successful drawing room meeting was held yesterday afternoon through the courtesy of Mrs J. F. Studholme, at her home, Helmore’s Road. Mr George Harper once again gave an enlightening talk on the various aspects of relief work in Christchurch and pointed out how well the different relief depots worked together. He also explained to his hearers the urgent ■ necessity of supporting the All Nations
Fair, both by providing goods for sale and by providing the buyers. Several questions showed the interest of those present in the cause of the unemployed. Many admission tickets were sold at the meeting and several offers of help were made. Miss M. G. Havelaar gave some details about the fair. “The All Nations Fair should by now,” she said, “really be called the All Citizens Fair for the whole of Christchurch is standing together in this effort to assist those, who, through no fault of their own, are in distress.
