RANGIORA HOUSE BURNED

At 1.30 ajn. to-day, a six-roomed wooden dwelling in Percival Street, Rangiora, owned and occupied by Mr John Lucy, was gutted by fire. There i was no one in the building at the time, Mr Lucy’s sister and her family, who lived with him, being away on holiday, and he returned from the country to find the place in flames. The house, which was an old one. was insured with the Sun Insurance Company for £2OO, and the contents were not covered. The cause of the outbreak is unknown.
