Christchurch Man to Pay *75. Per Press Association. WESTPORT, March 23. Walter Ahfeld, described as a Christchurch bookmaker, who was arrested on Monday and charged with carrying on the business of a bookmaker, appeared before Mr W. Meldrum, S.M., to-day. He pleaded guilav and elected to be dealt with summarily. lie was fined £75. He had one previous conviction last year.
