Declaring that beliefs should not be carried so far as to imperil lives, a Birmingham Coroner censured a Christian Scientist -father's failure to call a doctor to his fourteen-year-old son until the day he died' The doctor, in his evidence, stated that an operation two days before would have saved the life of the boy. The father said that he did not call a doctor believing that the “ Great Creator can do all things.”
