WAITING FOR WIND.

Water Lily Puts into Port Levy. Advice was received at noon to-day that the ketch Water Lily, which sailed yesterday for the Pacific, was lying at anchor at Port Levy. Mr H. Grennell, who ,brought the information to Lyttelton, stated that he made a call on the crew of the Water Lily this morning and asked if they wanted anything from Lyttelton. They replied that they were all right and they were cleaning up the ship while awaiting a favourable wind. The wind died down as the Water Lily reached the Heads last night. This made it advisable for the vessel to put into Port Levy for the night. There was a calm this morning with a smooth sea. The wind freshened towards mid-day.
