Unique Suit Brought in U.S. Court. LOS ANGELES, March 10. Joe Wheeler was a promising young business man in Los Angeles until he got a job as assistant manager of a big oil company-. Soon he went all to pieces with drink. Ilis wife, Ruth Wheeler, sued his employers for loss of his sober companionship, because part of his duties were to entertain the company’s customers. The Court awarded her £4OOO.
