Still Going Strong.

George Cook, the Australian boxer, and the recent conqueror of Maurice Griselle and Reggie Meen, was 32 years of age on January 23. The Australian, who has boxed in every part of the world, has twice met Larry Gains. On the first occasion, in 1924, Cook defeated Gains on points over ten rounds, while five years later the verdict was exactly reversed. In the opinion of many, Cook is a veteran, but so fit is he, and so carefully has he conserved his strength and stamina that many good judges believe him to be better to-dav than at any period since he first arrived in England, an ambitious youth of 21 years of age.
