WEDDING.
Marriage Solemnised at Rangiora. JAMIESON—M'INTOSH.. The wedding took place recently at the Rangiora Methodist Church, of Kathleen Nancy, second daughter of Mr and Mrs T. F. M’lntosh “Hampton,” Fernside, and William Donald M’Bride, only son of Mrs Jamieson and the late Mr W. C. Jamieson, of Christchurch. The Rev C. Blair, of Lyttelton, performed the ceremony and Mr A. Lane was organist. The bride, who was escorted by her mother, wore a becoming ankle-length frock of ivory satin cut on classical lines, the bodice being attractively patterned in pearls and diamente. A bolero coatee with fully-flared sleeves was also worn. Her long hand-embroidered tulle veil was outlined with a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a shower bouquet of begonias, gladioli and carnations. A quartet of bridesmaids was in attendance—Miss Marjory M’lrftosh (the bride’s sister), Miss Ann Winter, Miss Roma Winter and Miss Doris Jamieson. They wore ankle-length frocks of shell pink, Nile green, light delphinium blue and apricot taffetas respectively, cut on similar lines, with flared frills from the long waist-line and finished with bustle bows. The bodice showed a bolero effect. Each wore a Robin Hood felt hat of champagne colour, finished at the side with a feather, and carried a • bouquet of begonias, gladioli and chrysanthemums. Mr J. Smith, Christchurch, was best man and Mr D. Newman was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Northern A. and P. Association Hall, where 100 guests were entertained. Mrs M’lntosh, who received the guests, wore a smart black tailored costume with a black hat relieved with white and she carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums and roses. Mrs Jamieson wore a frock of black satin with a hat to tone and carried a bouquet of red flowers. When the bride and bridegroom left for their wedding tour the bride was wearing a smart tailored navy costume, a green felt hat and skunk fur. She carried a green velour coat trimmed with fawn clipped beaver.
