STUD RAMS SOLD.

Southdowns in Demand at Addington. At the Canterbury A. and P. Association’s ram fair, at the Show Grounds, Addington, the sale of stud rams was continued to-day. There was a good attendance of buyers. Southdowns were the first to be offered, and for sheep of outstanding breeding and quality there was fairly keen competition and some fairly good prices were obtained. During the forenoon, the highest figures were 52gs, 35gs, 33gs and 30gs. The demand for Southdowns was well maintained to the end of their sale. The top price realised was 6ogns for an exceptionally fine lengthy ram from the flock of H. J. Andrew (Maheno) who topped the sale last year at 42gns. The buyers were C. and T. Anderson (Dalmeny).
