Club Seeks New Quarters for Boats. “ That a sub-committee he appointed to investigate the possibilties in -connection with the club’s retaining of the old boatshed or its building of a new one. situated on or near the foreshore at Redcliffs,” was a resolution passed at a special general meeting of the Canterbury Outboard Motor Boat Club on Wednesday evening. The meeting had been called to discuss the question of seeking new quarters for the club’s boats apd it was mentioned that there was a possibility of the club retaining its old shed. Messrs H. Collins. J. Taylor, R. M. Watson and A. Kellaway (secretary) will form the committee, which will report to a general meeting of club members shortly after Easter. Later, at a meeting of the club’s executive, arrangements for the provincial championships, to be held at Akaroa at Easter, was completed.
