Mr Lloyd George, who has fully recovered from his illness, returned to politics to-day when he delivered a vigorous speech at the Junior Liberal Club. There were members of all political parties present. He severely criti-
cised the action of the Liberal leaders in the crisis of last autumn, and deplored, as the result of their action, that a predominantly protectionist House of Commons had been returned at the election, and the policy of free trade abandoned.
