TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Mrs Mooney, England, is spending a few days at the Hermitage. Miss Mary M’Quilkin, Ashburton, is the guest of Mrs N. D. Manyos, Cragie Avenue. Miss Tripp, Orari Gorge, returned home yesterday after a short visit to jMiss Rosa Tripp, Wai-iti Road. Mrs Kenneth Ainslie, Wellington, is staying with Mrs Raymond Parker, Page’s Road. Mrs H. Sinclair Thomson, Park Lane, left to-day to spend a few days in Geraldine. . Mrs A. S. Elworthy, Holme Station, is the guest of their daughter, Mrs Derrick Gould, Christchurch. Miss Ethel Batchelor, England, who is visiting New Zealand, will arrive today to be the guest of her neice, Mrs Harold Elworthy, “Craigmore.” Miss Nancy Bridges, Selwyn Street, has returned from a visit to Mrs Tasman Smith, Mano Vale,*’ Mackenzie Country. Mr H. Steffens, Miss Anna and Miss Meta Steffens, are leaving for Granity on the West Coast, to take up Home Mission Work.
