Conveyed in heavily-guarded motor-lorries along a police-patrolled road, the thirty-two Dartmoor convicts were arraigned at Princetown in the Town Hall in a special iron-railed dock, which their own comrades constructed in the gaol workshop. Twenty warders sat among the accused, who were charged with malicious damage during the riot on January 24.
