Catholic Convents Celebrate St Patrick’s Day. About three hundred boys and girls from the Roman Catholic? primary schools of Christchurch competed at an athletic carnival held at Lancaster Park this afternoon, to celebrate the 15th centenary of the arrival of St Patrick in Ireland. Results: Senior Division. Girls’ Siamese race, over ton—K. Corliss and C. Noonan 1, T. Cade and N. M’Entee 2, P. Burns and E. Goodall 3. IOOYds boys, under fourteen—P. Noonan (Marist Bros.) 1, E. Minogue (Marist Bros.’) 2. .1. Gill (Marist Bros.) 3. IOOYds girls, under fourteen—V. Cotter (St Mary’s) l, J. Costello (St JoJseph’s) 2, D. Shepherd (Nazareth House) 3.
