LONDON WOOL SALES.
General Demand; Offerings Mostly Cleared. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 15, 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, March 14. At the wool sales 8018 bales of wool were offered, including 3472 bales of New Zealand wOol and about 5672 bales were sold. The market was fully steady and the offerings were mostlycleared. There was a general demand. New Zealand lots sold as follows: — Greasies: Birchill (top price lOd) average Sid; scoureds: Weka Downs (15id) 154 d. The Bradford tops market is quiet but steady.
