Funeral of Late Mr Henry Firman.
The funeral of the late Mr Henry Firman took place yesterday afternoon, the long cortege leaving his residence, 89, Western Terrace, Beckenham, for the Bromley Cemetery. Pastor S. L. Paching conducted the service at the graveside. The pall-bearers were: Messrs J. N. M’Leod, W. Edgington (Horticultural Traders’ Association), C. Fineran i (Christchurch Stone Fruit and Tomato Growers’ Association) and C. E. Pope (New Zealand Tomato and Soft Fruit Produce Growers’ Associationk
The attendance at the funeral was representative of the Canterbury Fruitgrowers’ Association. Christchurch Tomato and Stone Fruit Growers’ Association, National Flower Show Committee, Dominion executive of the Horticultural Trades Association, the New Zealand Tomato and Soft Fruit Produce Growers’ Association, Beckenham Bowling Club, Dominion Bowling Association, Christchurch Bowling Centre. Cashmere Miniature Rifle Club and Sydenham Seventh Day Adventist Church.
