Woman Stole Set of False Teeth. Ida Wiggins, aged thirty-seven, a domestic, employed by the North Canterbury Hospital Board, was to-day admitted to probation for six months by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., on a charge of stealing on December 1, a set of artificial teeth, valued at £3 ss, the property of the Hospital Board. The accused pleaded not guilty. Chief-Detective Carroll said that the teeth were found at the house of a man named Downing. The accused admitted that she had left them there. The accused made a statement in which she said that she had obtained the teeth from an auction room. Later she said that the teeth had been given to her by someone, whose name she would not divulge.
