Charged with Stealing Council Funds. REMANDED TO PETONE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 15. James William Harbord, town clerk of Upper Ilutt, Avas arrested yesterday and charged at Upper Ilutt with stealing various moneys, a total of £lOl9 17s Id, the property of the Upper Ilutt Borough Council. Harbord Avas remanded to Petone.
