OAMARU AIRPORT OPENED.
Per Press Association. OAMARU, March 13. Oamaru’s airport at Hilderthorpe was officially opened on Saturday afternoon by the Deputy-Mayor, Mr M. F. Cooney, in the presence of a crowd of several thousand people. Fourteen visiting 'planes staged an interesting and thrilling pageant.
