INTER-COLLEGES GAMES.

Tennis Tournament at Wilding Park. The annual tennis match between the old girls and old boys of RangiRuru, St Margaret’s College, Christ’s College and St Andrew’s College is always a popular event from a social point of view as well as for competitive tennis. This year’s match was played on Saturday afternoon at Wilding Park and the games proved most interesting and exciting. St Alargaret’s College won the cup with the top score of 82, St Andrew’s second with 79, Old Collegians, third, 73, and Rangi-ruru, fourth, 65. Afternoon tea was served in the pavilion, the long table being decorated with coloured gladioli. The players were:—St Alargaret’s College, Airs Harmer Alacdonald, Misses Betty Macdonald, Molly Rankin and Kathleen Hoare; Rangi-ruru l , Alisses Sylvia Goss, Ena Fleetwood, Florence Cannon and Celia Reese; Christ’s College, Alessrs E. Orbell, F. Hartley, L. J. LeCren and I)r L. Averill; St Andrew’s College, Alessrs D. M’Donald. H. W. Thompson, E. D. and L. J. Broughton. Among those who watched the games were:—Air and Mrs A. K. Anderson. Air and Airs Dowling, Mrs Young, Airs C. S. Thomas, Mrs Guy Cotterill, Airs Dan Reese; Alisses H. Buckham, MacGibbon, Patricia Stewart, King, Vyvian Dawson, Alary Alorten, Betty Webb, Ruth Haggitt, M. Best: Mr A. E. Flower, Dr Aubrey Pollock and Messrs lan Gebbie and Hilson.
