AMBERLEY HOUSE.

Swimming Sports Attract Many Spectators.

The annual swimming sports of the Amberley House Collegiate Girls’ School were held on Saturday. The weather was fine and there was a good attendance of parents and friends. The races were keenly contested and some good displays of swimming and diving were seen. Especially popular were the candle-light-ing and obstacle races. The prizes were presented by Mrs P. J. Overton, who congratulated the school on its display. . The guests then adjourned for afternoon tea, at the invitation of the principal, Miss N. Enderby.
