Dear Pollard.

To the Editor. Dear Sir, —Can any of your readers explain to me why the price of pollard has been raised 10s per ton, when wheat has been reduced, and the workers have received a 10 per cent cut in their wages? Also, pollard is being sold to North Island poultry men at £5 per ton f.o.b. I think it is about time the Government stepped in and broke up the Milling Trust in the interest of all the users of pollard, etc. If we can get no redress I think it is up to the poultrymen and pigrpen to cut out pollard and use barley meal and oat pollard, as both are just as good as wheat pollard. —I am, etc., NON-SITTER.
